    REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma required

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • 2+ years of experience managing or leading software release activities (Expert Level)
    • - 4 years of experience working in an Agile environment
    • 3+ years of experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Experience with requirements tracing as related to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • 3+ years of experience working with Jira and Confluence
    • 6+ years of experience with Integration Testing
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent collaboration skills (Expert Level)

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • 6+ years of experience working with and/or testing data transformation and integration applications.
    • Self-starter and creative problem solver and have the flexibility to learn new products quickly.
    • Experience in Medicaid benefit programs who are highly organized, can work independently in a fast-paced environment, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure software releases are completed on schedule and with complete accuracy.
    Experience in all or most of the following domains would be considered required for this position:


    • Medicaid Management Information Systems (or other Health Information Technologies)
    • Agile Software Development
    • Content collaboration/ project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
    • Diagramming software such as Visio, etc.
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).


    The SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST will serve as a liaison between development teams and QA teams to coordinate and schedule production software releases.


    • The Business Analyst – Advanced will work with various internal teams including Project Directors/Project Managers, Technical Directors/Developers, Business and Technology Stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other Agency staff to gather and generate artifacts needed to establish the readiness of a release package.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate management staff, Product Owners, development team members, QA testers, DevOps, and other stakeholders required, to ensure successful releases.
    • Lead the preparation of release plans that accomplish the stated goals with minimum risk.
    • Document and track software releases and artifacts in Jira and Confluence.
