Exciting Job Opportunity

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers at our Medical Group practices. Embracing a patient-centered approach, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to support the well-being of those under your care. Your responsibilities will include gathering patient data, assisting with treatments, and maintaining a safe work environment. By following industry standards and regulations, you will contribute to the mission and vision of Mohawk Valley Health System.

Main Responsibilities

Take patient measurements and document findings
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
Support self-care initiatives and treatment plans
Maintain equipment and supplies
Participate in educational workshops and quality improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively within the healthcare team

Requirements

Essential:

Graduate of a licensed practical nursing program

Preferred:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification

Essential:

Current New York State LPN licensure
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) - Required within 6 weeks of hire
