    Description

    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    The Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the production department by responding to breakdown calls, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing mechanical equipment.

    This position continuously promotes safety in the work area by understanding and complying with all established safety policies and procedures.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides limited electrical support for 208/480V devices, including motor starters, VFDs, PLCs, pumps, conveyor motors, transformers, etc.
    • Completes repairs of all manufacturing equipment, including fabrication and mechanical scopes of all repairs.
    • Efficiently uses CMMS for work order assignments, completion, PM development, spare part inventory, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, capital projects, corrective work, and managing parts through cycle counts.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Expert user of CMMS and TPM.
    • Experience with VFD installation, programming, welding, PLC troubleshooting, ladder diagram interpretation, 208/480V motor and drive replacement/setup, mechanical drives, extrusion/compounding/injection molding equipment.
    • Minimum 5 years of Maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

    Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
