    Overview

    Keen Transport, Inc.

    is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Customer Service department as Customer Care Coordinator at our Carlisle, PA office.

    Responsibilities


    As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate information to our staff, manufacturers, and customers, ensuring the timely and efficient pick-up, transport, and delivery of freight.

    In this role, you will also have the opportunity to build and manage customer accounts.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide customers with accurate and complete information about their shipments.
    • Review payment terms with customers and inform them of any requirements.
    • Coordinate with Operations to meet special customer needs.
    • Ensure all necessary documents are prepared and easily accessible.
    • Set specific pick-up or delivery times and give advance notice of any special requirements, including state and federal regulation requirements.
    • Inform customers of any delays, damages, or shortages.
    • Contact customers on factory releases and provide directions for pick-up and delivery.
    • Enter and update information in storage and inventory software.
    • Learn about Keen trailers and equipment and their uses.
    Qualifications


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, and Outlook.
    • Professional and courteous telephone manner. Ability to handle heavy customer contact each day.
    • Data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work independently.
    • Must have problem resolution, decision-making, and general negotiation skills with customers.
    • Knowledge of geography and map reading ability.
