Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI Import/exchange customer requirements specification documents. Responsible for Project-specific system requirements allocation to disciplines. Responsible for Project-specific system requirement analysis. Responsible for Project-specific system changes and Project-specific system architecture changes. Maintain the requirement status in the CRS/SYRS/SYD. Define system requirements to be tested. Define verification criteria for system requirements. Define technical solution for system defects. Create product specification as part of the Technical Customer Documentation. Create System-FMEA. Present FTA and System FMEA to the customer. Define and release of project-specific restraint system architecture. Develop technical requirements and agree with the customer. Plan and coordinate all safety activities at system level in the relevant phases of the life cycle (project-specific safety plan). Coordinate the planning activities with the Project Manager. Responsible for hazard analysis and risk assessment of the product Functional safety concept. Identify project specific technical safety requirements on system level. Support of the verification and validation (project specific V&V-Plan) from safety perspective. Conduct the project specific tailoring of the Fault Tree Analysis. Support the project specific FMEA from a safety perspective. Provide the safety case - project-specific safety verification according to the safety plan. Report the safety status to the management and raise safety issues. Present safety status to the customer and clarify safety issues with the customer. Support the safety assessor in planning and conducting the safety assessment. Coordinate safety activities with the project specific safety team. Recommend release of the safety case for the project. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a System Engineer, Automotive System Specialist, or other occupation within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Requirements management using DOORS; (2) System engineering in the automotive industry; (3) Methods and tools for system and software development for Automotive ECUs; (4) System architecture and application of safety engineering and management; and (5) Engineering safety processes and safety standards.
