Candidates must be excellent at following protocols and teaching by modules staying within the curriculum.

Instructor Responsibilities Include:

o Instructing future phlebotomists in the art of phlebotomy

o Creating a comfortable, positive teaching environment

o Providing encouragement to students to succeed in the program

o Relaying phlebotomy information in a clear and easy to understand way

Instructor Requirements:

o CURRENT Licensed Phlebotomy Technician in the state of California with a minimum of 3 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide copy of license upon request

o the following experience and/or certifications will NOT be accepted: Medical Assistant, CNA, Self-Employed/Independent/Contractor, Mobile Phlebotomists or Blood Bank (Whole Blood Donation)

o Hold no less than a high school diploma or GED and have completed a program of post-secondary education at a recognized school in a field directly related to the program teaching, must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request

We are currently hiring for a PM instructor with immediate training in the morning.

Courses are:

PM- 6:00 PM-10:00 PM

Monday-Thursday

Additional Information:

o $35 - $38 an hour depending on experience

o Paid training

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 4-hour shift
• Evening shift
• No weekends

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician License (Required)
