    Job Title: Loan Processor/Assistant

    Company: Block Equity Group

    Location: In Office: Rockville Centre, NY

    Block Equity Group, a leading lending company, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Processor/Assistant. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of loan applications while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in the processing of loan applications by collecting and verifying applicant information, including financial documents and credit histories.

    2. Review loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company guidelines.

    3. Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies.

    4. Prepare and organize loan documentation for submission to underwriting and closing departments.

    5. Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and update databases with relevant information.

    6. Assist in coordinating loan closings and ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.

    7. Provide administrative support to loan officers and other team members as needed.

    8. Stay informed about industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.

    Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.

    2. Previous experience in loan processing, banking, or a related field is desirable.

    3. Familiarity with loan origination software and MS Office applications.

    4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    6. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in lending is a plus.

    8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
