Job description
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Deputy Warden, the major goals of this position include Administration of the Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Programs, including directing and evaluating the programs; supervision, direction, and instruction of (SUD) and Social Work treatment staff; maintaining and updating clinical and administrative procedures; development of appropriate research components; and performance of public relations duties.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule and range 81-03 with a starting pay of $75608 to $94993.
Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire.
A probationary period is required.Candidates may be eligible for an add-on corresponding to their AODA/SUD certification:
Substance Abuse CounsSubstance Abuse Counselor – in – Training (SACIT) $1.00 / hour
Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) $1.50 / hour
Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) $2.00 / hour
Clinical Supervisor in Training (CSIT) $3.00 / hour
Intermediate Clinical Supervisor (ICS) $3.50 / hour
Independent Clinical Supervisor (ICS) $4.00 / hour

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e.

Shift: 7:45am-4:30pm Monday- Friday
Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience:
Assessing, performing treatment planning, facilitating evidence-based curricula and counseling clients with Substance Use Disorders.
Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing evidence-based program data for quality assurance and policy/procedural change recommendations.
Performing supervision or lead worker related activities (e.g. assigning, directing, and/evaluating work; disciplinary matters, completing performance elevations, hiring, providing training/mentoring).
In addition to the above, well qualified applicant will have experience:
Developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment and/or specialized programs (e.g. treatment, clinical, and/or social services, education, religious programs, structured activities).
Coordinating, developing and/or delivering training that enhances evidence-based practices and/or supports organizational goals.
Special Requirements
The incumbent must possess and maintain through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services:
One of three certifications:
An Independent Clinical Supervisor-License, an Intermediate Clinical Supervisor-License or a Clinical Supervisor In-Training-License.
OR
Minimally, hold an active Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor credential;
or hold an active license at the master's level or higher under;
Clinical Social Worker License,
457.10 Marriage and Family Therapist License,
457.11 Marriage and Family Therapist Training License
457.12 Professional Counselor License (Privilege to Practice)
457.13 Professional Counselor Training License
and obtain a Clinical Supervisor-in-Training license within 6 months of appointment.
AND
Have at least 2 years of experience delivering Substance Use Disorder Treatment or have at least 2 years of experience providing supervision to Substance Use Disorder Treatment Providers.
