PT, Flexible 5-15 hours per week, Mon-Thurs, 2:30 pm-7:30 pm, Sat 9 am-Noon, Tutor at Center, College & Retirees Welcome.

Position

We are looking for a tutor who is able to teach Pre-Calculus and Physics. Keep reading to see if you are the perfect fit.
- Are you a teacher that thrives on seeing that moment when your student learns something new and they have that "lightbulb" moment?
- Are you a college student looking for a part-time job that will work around your school schedule and you can do upper-level math?
- Are you a retiree that wants to make a difference in a student's life?
- Confidently tutor up to 3 students per hour on different subjects in our center.
- Follow provided curriculum for each student and assist with homework and helping students to study for tests.
- Our tutoring schedule is Monday through Thursday from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- You won't need to do any lesson planning or curriculum development on your own time. Our admin team does all that for you You just get to come in and have fun with our students.
- $100.00 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days of employment.
- Pay is between $15 - $20 per hour depending on qualifications
- We are super flexible regarding your schedule.
- We love experienced tutors and will pay more for your experience
- Our students need extra help and the more that you can help them, the more you will shine
- You're getting to help students build skills while building confidence.
- We prefer that you have a Bachelor's Degree or have at least 60 credit hours in college.
- You will need to CONFIDENTLY tutor Physics or Chemistry and Pre-Calculus or higher.
- You will need to be able to multitask.
- Our kids look up to our tutors as mentors and coaches, so you will need to be firm and loving with the students; setting effective boundaries and helping them stretch academically
- In order to get the maximum number of hours and have a minimum of 10 hours of availability, you will need to be available to tutor for a minimum of 3 days each week.
- You must have your own laptop and be comfortable tutoring using DIGITAL programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
