Job summary
This position exists to perform skilled planning, lay outs, installation and repairs of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment.Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.* Assemble, install test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring,equipment ,appliance s apparatus a nd fixtur es us ing hand tools a nd power tool s .< br >* Diagnose malfunctioning systems appara tus an d componen ents using tes t equiipment an d ha nd too l s .* Connect wires to circuit breakers transformers or other components. < br >* Inspect electri cal system equipm ent an d compo nent s to ident ify hazard s defe cts an d th e ne ed fo r adjus temen t o r re pa ir * Test elect ri cal syst ems con tinuity of circuits in elec tric al wirin g equ ipme nt a nd fixtur es us ing testing devises suc h as ohmmeter v ol tmeters oscilloscopesto ens ure compati bility safet y o f sys tem.
