- Prior work experience with grant accounting
- Mostly state and federal grants
- Some Restricted Grants from foundations and some are cost reimbursements.
- Experience setting up and/or reviewing a chart of accounts; verify transactions are processed and accounted for properly.
- Ability to help prepare for an audit and assist with year-end close activities
- Must be analytical and thorough
- Likes to figure out how the numbers piece together.
- Enjoy working closely with clients, and answering questions.
- Technology: Aplos and experience with MIP a plus
