Overview of the role

The role involves overseeing and supporting the daily operation of servers and networks to ensure reliable performance and data integrity in LANs and WANs.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining intranets, managing user accounts, and defining and implementing Disaster Recovery procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain engineering servers and workstations
Administer IAM systems, such as LDAP and Single Sign-On
Monitor system and network performance for reliability
Analyze performance metrics and logs for optimization and issue resolution
Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply security updates
Evaluate processes and tools for enhancement
Execute backup and recovery operations

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field with 5-8 years of IT support in production environments
Hands-on experience with Ubuntu Linux, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, and MacOS
Proficiency in automating tasks using tools like Ansible and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes
Support and management experience with Google Workspace and Office 365
Understanding of Identity Management (IAM/PAM) concepts
Familiarity with networking concepts
