Position: Instrument Technician II

Location: Indianapolis, IN, USA

Duration: 12+ Months

Start Date: ASAP

Work Schedule: Morning Shift

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr

Job Description:

The Off-Site Implementation Center (OSIC) Field Service Installation Technician will be responsible for setting up and delivering equipment ready for onsite installation at customer sites, following pre-installation processes.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate equipment and processes according to standard operating procedures and site protocols.
Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Complete and ensure accuracy of all process orders and associated documentation, records, and metrics.
Prepare and maintain work centers according to specifications.
May provide training to others in the department as needed.
Maintain and continuously improve the quality system, ensuring quality objectives are achieved through daily actions.
Perform material handling of incoming and outgoing instruments.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and 2 years of technical school, equivalent military training, or equivalent work experience.
2 years progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, or equivalent military experience.
Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and within a team setting.
Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology, or certified Medical Technician.
Valid forklift operator certificate or ability to obtain one.
Ability to understand and comply with appropriate safety, health, and environmental procedures.
