    The GEICO Financial Systems team, which supports the Office of the CFO, has exciting opportunities for top performing systems analysts/leaders to join our team As a member of our team, you will be responsible for technical & business analysis, eliciting and writing system requirements, system design, configuration and testing, and project management activities.

    The successful candidate is a FinTech professional who is results-oriented, a proven problem-solver through critical thinking & creativity, and highly adaptable to change.

    These positions will provide many opportunities to drive financial processing innovation and will provide exposure to many facets of company operations which impact corporate financial processing and reporting.


    Responsibilities:
    Executing, coordinating and/or managing all aspects of the systems development life cycle.

    This will include, but not limited to, planning, requirements gathering, analysis, design, system configuration, testing, and creating and executing detailed test plansOrganizing and planning project work, to include the development project plans and contributing to the development of roadmapsDevelopment of recommendations to improve processes and/or application systemsLeading or guiding analysts through project work, providing guidance and mentorship.

    (Proven leadership qualifications are essential)

    Ability to communicate with associates and management at all levels of the organization, including the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to meet project timelines and deliverablesBasic Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in accounting or information systems (or equivalent financials degree with specific relevant experience)Minimum 7 years experience in direct support of financial processing, financial applications and financial automation improvementsThe ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, including the ability to pivot as necessary to successfully drive projects to completion as priorities shift and user expectations evolve is essential to succeed in this position.

    Understanding of financials concepts, and financials processing and controlsExperience supporting large scale Financials applications (including system design and configuration experience) and an understanding of financial concepts.

    Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage multiple system projects at one timeStrong organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication (both verbal and written) skillsExtensive project organization, coordination and management experience with systems related projectsProven analytical and problem-solving ability.

    Experience with Workday FinancialsUnderstanding of, and experience with, change management processes and communicationExpectations: The ideal candidate(s) will be able to work independently given general direction and also thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing.

    Grade will be assigned commensurate with experience and skills of selected candidate. This position requires an aptitude test which will be considered as part of candidate evaluation.
