    Description
    Position: Construction Technology Lab Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing routine maintenance on equipment as instructed
    • Assisting with inventory and requisition of supplies
    • Assist faculty with the supervision and mentoring of students during lab sessions
    • Ensuring a clean and safe lab environment

    Requirements:

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • At least 2 years of experience in carpentry
    • Ability to follow technical instructions

    Skills:

    • Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Interpersonal relation skills
    • Ability to work the required hours each week
    • Working cooperatively with students, faculty, and staff
    • Operation of hand tools and job-related carpentry tasks

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Equipment repair and installation abilities
    • Capability to lift 50 pounds
