- Note: Military service is preferred; it is not required; Instructor experience is required.
Systematic Business Consulting (SBC) is looking to kickstart a new initiative, in the local Virginia Tidewater area, currently coined the Veterans' Industrial Training Center (VITC) The desired end state is to assist transitioning or recently separated (under Honorable conditions) servicemembers – with an industrial manufacturing-related MOS/NEC – through a vocational training curriculum, prior to or shortly after leaving the military. Our near-term goal is to have the first cohort start in Aug, then tentatively, in Oct and Dec, to close out CY24.
Looking ahead, to CY25 and beyond, we want to identify a lead, local instructor and/or a group of facilitators that can be trained to deliver the curriculum (if necessary) and then deliver classroom instruction to future VITC cohorts – either as a volunteer, or as a paid Part-Time position.
