    Senior Systems Engineer

    Description:

    The Senior Systems Engineer role in Ellicott City, MD requires solid IT/Technology background and exceptional project management skills. The ideal candidate will work on diverse projects, handle client solutions, and assist in proposal writing. Onsite client visits are part of the job, along with troubleshooting various IT issues. Remote work is predominant, with office presence required two days a week.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Experience in Office 365 and Azure
    • Active Directory administration/design expertise
    • Proficiency in network segmentation
    • Cloud Computing and Powershell scripting skills
    • Knowledge of NIST/CMMC standards
    • Strong troubleshooting and Project Management skills
    • Excellent communication and Customer Service skills
    • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus

    A strong candidate should have over 10 years of hands-on experience in IT, client-facing roles, and project management. The role involves a probation period and the ability to handle computer/server equipment.
