Description
CounselorReporting to the counselor supervisor, you will receive routine supervision, as well as ongoing, paid trainings through our corporate resource center.
You will provide chemical health education and therapeutic interventions to assist client's recovery. You will manage a caseload while supporting group programing.Duties include performing assessments, communicating with organizational and community personnel and maintaining accurate documentation for accurate client care and efficient revenue collection.
Salary:
LADC:
$62,000- $70,000 annual salary based on experienceADC
Job Duties:
Skilled in performing the 12 core functionsKnowledge of Minnesota Matrix Six DimensionAwareness of cultural diversity and demonstration of sensitivity to various cultural norms and valuesAssists clients in maintaining county or 3rd party payer mechanisms and communicating clinical criteria to payers for appropriate servicesObtain authorization for fundingMaintain professional licenseWill not admit, transfer, or discharge clients, but may be directed to follow through with the process of implementation of the above by the director or designeeAttend all staff in services and meetings
