- Have a California Registered Dental Hygienist's license
- Have a valid CPR card

- Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
- Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
- Taking dental radiographs or intraoral photos of teeth
- Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, SDF, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
- Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
- Inputting treatment plans when diagnosed by the dentist, and helping explain procedures to patients, helping improve patient acceptance

About our office:
Beachwood Dental is a private family office than offers general and family dentistry, along with implants, cosmetics, RCT's, Invisalign, and sleep apnea dentistry (trying to build this sector out more though.) We also have a wonderful in-house orthodontist once/month.
