    As the Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager, your expertise will be critical in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and providing insightful analysis to drive informed decision-making.

    You will collaborate with industry experts and leaders in the farming and agriculture sector and serve as a crucial accounting and financial partner, providing valuable insights and analysis to drive business growth and success.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Leadership – Key member of the DCA corporate accounting team. Assist in the development and support of departmental strategic plans and initiatives.
    Management – Leadership and oversight of the reporting and technical accounting processes and output
    Accounting – Maintain ownership of technical accounting and ensure full compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

    Financial Statements and Reporting – Prepare and analyze the monthly consolidated financial reports and provide performance context and explanation for variances.


    Essential Job Duties:
    Assist with monthly close process as needed
    Responsible for implementation of new accounting standards
    Assist external audit firm with required audit support and testing
    Coordinate and assist external tax firm with required tax compliance
    Produce monthly consolidations for bank reporting and variance analysis
    Coordinate and assist as needed with annual budget process
    Provide detailed account level analysis and investigation, including income statement variance analysis and balance sheet account review and reconciliation
    Assist in providing support for the operating companies, enabling them to highlight issues, risks and opportunities, and to drive the business forward
    Provide and deliver of ad-hoc management reports, including development of strategic KPI's
    Perform other duties as assigned or required

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Required:
    BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related/relevant experience

    Required:

    5+ years' experience in full-cycle accounting

    Required:

    3+ years of team management

    Highly

    Preferred:
    QuickBooks experience


    Preferred:
    Experience in

    Agribusiness/Agriculture

    fields, or related fields, like landscaping, garden centers, and/or nurseries
