As a Senior Salesforce Technology Architect specializing in financial services, you will lead solution and presales activities across North America.

Reporting to the Salesforce COE lead with a dotted line to Account Executives/Market Unit leaders, this role will focus on clients in the US and Canada.

Main Responsibilities:

Drive technical architecture, detailed design, and development on the Salesforce platform, both hands-on and as a subject matter expert (SME).

Lead application design and development from inception through production.
Define and implement technological architecture and roadmaps using products and best practices for development agility, performance, and security.
Design, configure, code, and architect large-scale solutions and deliver required outcomes in complex settings.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand current needs, identify desired process models, and establish solution architecture.
Mentor junior developers and team members, conducting code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and security.
Provide technical expertise and advice for integrating provincial digital solutions.
Contribute to architectural project plans, obtaining approval for detailed plans and resource estimates.
Support change initiatives by planning technical architecture-related activities.


Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a hands-on Salesforce technical architect (Sales and Service Clouds) in a lead role, making decisions at the enterprise level for Salesforce, data, and integration architecture.

Minimum 10 years' experience as a Salesforce technical lead and developer on Sales, Community, and Lightning.
Minimum 5 years' experience defining enterprise integration and microservices strategy to integrate Salesforce with on-premises and legacy systems.

Salesforce certifications required:
Integration Architecture Designer, Data Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus.


Nice to have:
Experience with Financial Service Cloud is advantageous.

Additional Salesforce certifications:
Admin, Platform Developer 1.
