Summary: The Medical/Surgical/Rehab Unit Registered Nurse plays a key role in coordinating nursing care for pre/postoperative and medical patients throughout their hospital stay, also engaging in patient and family education and providing leadership in collaboration with other healthcare team members to uphold professional nursing standards.
