    Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman

    To be considered for this role, you will lead a team of mechanics and technicians to ensure our fleet of equipment is maintained and repaired in a safe and efficient manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Shop Operations & Management:

    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

    • Monitor and maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

    • Oversee daily maintenance and repair activities for company trucks and trailer equipment.

    Personnel Management:

    • Supervise, train, and evaluate mechanics, technicians, and support staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

    Fleet Maintenance & Compliance:

    • Oversight of inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of equipment ensures that all vehicles are road-ready and compliant with regulations.

    • Maintain accurate service records and schedules for all fleet vehicles.

    Financial & Inventory Management:

    • Monitor shop expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

    • Manage parts inventory and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

    Customer Service & Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, fleet managers, and external vendors.

    • Address driver concerns and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
