- Performing all mold changes as per the production schedule, including emergency changes.
- Setting up die-related functions such as watering, knockout, hot runner setup, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Repairing any fluid or air leaks related to the die.
- Conducting die insert changes.
- Handling the pulling and resetting of die halves for repairs.
- Loading and unloading die-carrying trucks.
- Maintaining the orderly appearance of die storage areas.
- Ordering and organizing all die setting supplies.
- Initiating the shooting of die sets where necessary.
- Completing and filing all paperwork promptly.
- Strict adherence to OSHA and safety regulations.
- Compliance with USF policies and procedures.
- Frequent standing or walking for extended periods.
- Lifting or lowering objects up to 35 lbs regularly.
- Reaching above/below shoulder level frequently.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Avoidance of loose-fitting clothing that could interfere with machinery.
- Occasional exposure to high temperatures and vibrations.
