    Description

    Responsibilities:

    Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPPs primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ships expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

    SURFMEPPs System Engineers provide database management for assigned systems in M&SWP. The C4I Engineer will update existing maintenance tasks and create new maintenance tasks to support maintenance on shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems for the Navys Surface Ship Fleet. System Engineers attend meetings and communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide comments, recommendations, and follow-up on relevant issues and topics supporting C4I systems.

    Required Qualifications:

    Applicants must have the following minimum skills and knowledge:
    Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors.
    4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience
    DOD SECRET Security Clearance
    Experience related to shipboard C4I systems
    Proficiency with Navy Maintenance Databases

    Desired Qualifications:

    Use of MS Office Suite tools
    Drafting and delivering technical presentations
    Proficient written and verbal communication skills
    Understanding of reliability centered maintenance

    Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.

    Posted Salary Range:
    USD $45, USD $80,190.00 /Yr.
