    Educational and Experience Requirement
    Associates Degree in related field preferred. Four years relevant administrative assistant experience or experience in a related field. Experience in Higher Education and specialized work listed below is desirable. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
    Nature & Purpose of Position

    Performs a variety of highly complex clerical and budgetary tasks requiring a moderate use of independent judgment and a good working knowledge of record keeping principles for the IT Service Centers.

    Primary Responsibilities
    Acts as a liaison between IT and University departments regarding IT Service Center billing information and processes. Ensures excellent customer service and maintains high customer satisfaction. Performs advanced administrative functions related to IT Service Center. Handles service tickets and purchasing requests for IT Service Centers. Updates and maintains various records and runs monthly reports. Communicates with departments regarding IT Service Center billing information and processes. Produces and disseminates IT Service Center invoices to appropriate University departments. Recoups Service Center charges from University departments via FUPLOADs. Processes monthly payments and Pcard reconciliations for campus partners. Gathers data and compiles for reporting and billing purposes.

    Handles various customer service activities and provides information, answers questions and resolves issues accurately and efficiently by interacting directly with customers either by telephone, email, or in person.

    Performs complex departmental budget and clerical duties. Maintains information for various databases. Serves in cross functional role within IT Business Services team, including cost recovery, process review, budget and accounting actions. Performs regular audits of revenue account balances. Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Other Specifications
    Requires the ability to handle large volumes of data entry with speed and accuracy. Must have strong computer and typing skills; use of calculator and/or adding machine is a plus. Proficiency and accuracy in all duties performed is required.

    Requires the ability to perform work of considerable complexity, which involves working independently towards general results, devising new work methods, interpreting policy, or meeting new conditions necessitating a high degree of ingenuity, initiative, and judgment.

    May devote from 25% to 50% of time to routine contacts by telephone with employees of other work units in obtaining or supplying information relating to work.

    Must have strong customer service skills, problem solving and communication skills (via phone, email, and in person). Ability to organize and multi-task with the ability to solve operational problems and make suggestions for process improvement.


    Up to 80% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
