    Description

    THOR Solutions is actively seeking a junior Model-Based Systems Engineer that understands the complexity of maritime platforms and the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) requirements.

    This position would be helping create the architecture framework for a brand new USCG platform in the works. Support the USCG program office.
    Review teams of new architectures for the platform.

    Location:
    Full time onsite at the USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC.

    Travel:
    Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

    Secret Security Clearance Eligibility Required:
    This position requires eligibility for a DoD Secret security clearance.

    A qualified candidate will either already possess an active or Interim Secret clearance (preferred), or be eligible to obtain a new Secret clearance upon hire.

    Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant technical discipline.

    Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience supporting DoD or DHS Acquisition Program(s) in the development of Enterprise Architecture products.

    Proficient with System Architect Tool/Software (developed by Unicom).
    Familiarity with common productivity software, including Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
