    About the Role:

    Join Caring Companions, LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our Newington client. Even though this position will be part time, you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying a flexible work schedule in a supportive environment.

    *** Specifically, we are seeking a CNA who has experience with ADL Assistance, Meal Prep, Companionship, Safety Supervision, able to drive client to appointments/errands as needed. This client will need someone who understands and knows the signs of a UTI in a senior, understands and knows how to care for someone who is a diabetic. Can assist with meal prep that helps manage diabetes. Overall, our client is very independent and just needs some assistance and to be monitored so she can safely stay in her home independently as long as possible.

    Hiring ASAP: Hours for this position are TBD Competitive Pay is based off Experience. $17-$19/hour

    Responsibilities:

    Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.

    Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.

    Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

    Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.

    Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care plans.

    Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.

    Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.

    Requirements:

    Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut or HHA.

    Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to lift and move clients safely.

    Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.

    Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.

    Basic understanding of medical terminology and care practices.

    Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
