    What will you do?

    • Food Safety: Ensure effective food safety compliance. Manage and lead HACCP program, ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices, preventive controls and prerequisite programs are in place and effective. Manage the plant Food Safety & Quality System to produce safe quality food, acting as SQF Practitioner or equivalent GFSI manager (BRC, FS22000).
    • Quality Systems: Develop and maintain food safety and quality systems including QC & QA. Develop, review and align procedures with corporate policies, through GQMS (Global Quality Management System) with a drive towards best practice. Internally audit practices and procedures for improvement to prevent non-conformances.
    • Compliance: Enforce Kerry standards in the areas of ingredient and product standards, process specifications, formula compliance, sanitation/GMP/pest control, and regulatory compliance.
    • Quality Improvement: Track report and review agreed upon KPI's. Develop and lead the plant Quality Improvement Plan. Partner cross-functionally in quality and process improvement.
    • Customer Satisfaction: Be proactive and responsive in addressing non conformances, communicating effectively on technical issues and leading the root cause analysis. Develop and verify corrective actions.
    • Managerial Responsibilities: Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant through training, communication, and accountability.
    • Technical Skills: Continuously improve knowledge of products and technology to investigate variation and resolve technical problems with the site team. Apply a scientific approach with statistical analysis to data and problem solving. Act as the primary technical liaison with customers, vendors and regulatory agencies.

    What will you need to be successful?

    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or similar.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred).
    • Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety regulations, FSMA, and industry and market trends.
    • Experience leading / supervising teams is a plus.

    Compensation Data


    The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
