    The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be a part of a professional, customer-oriented team in the Service department located in Billerica.

    This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in a conversational manner. The CSR must be able to remain calm, cool and collected in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position works closely with other team members, customers, technicians, management and other departments within Teledyne FLIR.


    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


    Manage incoming internal and external customer inquiries via both email and phoneProcess customer requests and information timely and efficiently to provide spare parts quotationsProcess purchase orders, government contracts and credit cards while paying attention to customer, payment and contractual termsPrepare shipping documentsWork closely with technicians and peersResponsible for gathering and entering customer information for import and export requests for international returns per Global Trade Compliant requirements.

    Vet and screen customers, systems and transactionsConsistently follow applicable International Traffic in Arms ( ITAR) and Commerce regulationsHelp to manage and reduce the spare parts backlogPerform additional related duties as required

    Job Qualifications:

    Previous Customer Service experience preferred but not requiredA minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent requiredProficient with Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP system, preferably SAPStrong work ethic, analytical, creative, independent yet also a team playerAble to execute and prioritize multiple tasksFlexible and adaptable to changeStrong communications skills, both written and verbalGood organization and time management skillsAbility to multi-task and quickly navigate multiple systemsApplicants must be either a U.S.

    citizen, U.S.

    national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S.

    Departments of State or Commerce.
