    Description

    The Structures Company is seeking a Stress Engineer in Bothell, WA.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Stress Engineer to create beautiful Aircraft interiors for VIP's and Heads of State. Imagine designing 4000 sq. ft of LUXURY home in the SKY

    • Review engineering drawings for structural integrity and compliance with FAA regulations
    • Complete stress analysis documents to show compliance to FAA regulations
    • Utilize classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Modeling techniques
    • Generate engineering technical documents, assist in performance of laboratory and aircraft testing
    • May perform as functional "Lead" for stress team on specific project(s)

    Job Requirements

    What You Must Have:

    • Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Engineering or equivalent, minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • NASTRAN Modeling and FEMAP experience desired
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, write technical reports and correspondence
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD)
    • Aircraft interior analysis experience is required
