Staff Accountant

Our well-established client needs to add a Staff Accountant to their accounting team.

Duties:

Perform general accounting functions to include monthly financial reporting and assistance in analysis.
Evaluate and further develop financial controls and projections.
Experience in AP, AR, etc., a plus.
Will work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product while working closely with all major functional leaders of the company.
Special projects and reporting daily, monthly, and annually.
Reports directly to the CFO.

Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting and two or more years general accounting experience.
Strong analytical and accounting skills with understanding of GAAP.
Ability to assist in the preparation of financial statements and support closing processes at month-end.
Background in analysis, cash flow management, and general ledger accounting preferred.
Advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Excellent written, oral communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Self-starter with leadership skills for advancement.
Experience with E-automate and/or QuickBooks a plus.
Experience with leasing and or contracts a plus.

This is a Direct hire role that is in the office and offers a salary of $50k - $65k depending on experience and full benefits.
