    What we're seeking:

    This Lead Software Engineer role will be responsible for providing technical direction and innovation within a blended team of employees, SOW resources, and contractors both onshore and offshore. The role will utilize a background of technical knowledge and foresight to ensure that Frontier has the best in bread technical solution for our mobile field tech workforce. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to either 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX or 610 N. Morgan St., Tampa, FL to complete your work responsibilities.

    What you'll do:

    • Responsible for technology recommendations for the mobile tech platform including, but not limited to, solution design, development, planning, security, and testing
    • Continuously suggests improvement to appropriate processes and technology
    • Development lead for the mobile tech platform to ensure the proper development lifecycle processes are being followed such as agile ceremonies, code review, mentoring, automation, and continuous process, technology and team improvement
    • Hands-on for architecture and development implementation for code branching methodologies, reusable development components and unit testing approach

    • Salary Range: $88,000 to $177,000

    What background you should have:

    • 5+ years of hands-on application development experience - from implementation to production release
    • Strong problem-solving ability with desire to always be learning
    • Demonstrated experience in Agile development methodologies, specifically with large-scale initiatives and geographically distributed teams
    • Demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
      • ReactJS or AngularJS, Java, API Gateways (such as Apigee), Microservices, REST API, RDBMS (such as Oracle)
      • Architectural domain knowledge including DevOps automation, cloud application architecture, specifically AWS and/or Azure
    • Experience in mobile application development and implementation in a complex corporate environment along with understanding of network and communications technologies and architectures.
    • Confident and effective communicator who demonstrates deep personal character and optimism
    • Recognizes and celebrates diverse backgrounds, points of view, and cultural histories that directly impact the organization's ability to innovate

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Telecommunications background
    • IT experience with mobile app development and implementation in a telecommunications setting
    • Flutter app development
    • Use of API standards such as TMForum and MEF API

    Preferred Education:

    • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another degree in a related discipline required OR equivalent experience
