IMMEDIATELY HIRING Paramedic FULL-TIME Opportunity

Sign-On Bonus- $15K for Full-Time New Hire Paramedics (Conditions apply)

$ $43.99 per hour DOE (This rate applies to 12 hour shifts and average 42 hours per week)

$20.43- $33.68 per hour DOE (This rate applies to 24 hour shifts and average 56 hours per week)

Pay & Incentives:

Annualized Salary Range: $63, $105,041.38 depending on experience
Prior paramedic experience considered for placement on wage scale
Opportunities for overtime and regional / federal deployments
$2,000 annual tuition reimbursement
Paid training and continuing education

POSITION SUMMARY:

The mission and purpose this position is to compassionately deliver high-quality service and patient care in a professional and caring manner to patients in need. Successful candidates will proudly provide service to the citizens of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Spring Valley, National City, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.

• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• CA State Paramedic License

• CA State Driver's License

• CA State Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)

• Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Paramedic Certificate (San Diego County card)

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic

• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
