    Job title: SCE Parent Liaison (25-26 SY) - MacArthur HS

    Description

    As SCE Parent Liaison at Irving Independent School District, you will assist school personnel with parent and community relations and communication to facilitate achievement of school goals. Your primary purpose will be to contact parents in a systematic manner with positive information about the school, maintain confidentiality of information, and assist in communicating a positive image of the school. You will also make contact with neighborhood apartment managers and businesses to improve community relations, coordinate translation of campus documents into Spanish for distribution to parents/guardians who do not read English, and serve as a member of the Multicultural Committee making recommendations as needed.

    • Contact parents in a systematic manner with positive information about the school
    • Maintain confidentiality of information
    • Assist in communicating a positive image of the school
    • Make contact with neighborhood apartment managers and businesses to improve community relations
    • Coordinate translation for Spanish speaking families
