- Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery.
- Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Confer with other departments to coordinate activities or repairs.
- Perform activities of workers supervised.
- Daily inspections and repairs of cooling fans, belts, and electrical.
- Perform preventative maintenance on solenoid vales, shutoff valves, and regulators.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Makeup Units.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Refrigerated Makeup Air Units and hanging Evaporators.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Previous mechanical experience highly preferred but willing to train
- Previous experience in Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, Mechanical Power Transmission, Welding
- Proficient in trouble shooting
- Education/Experience in the use of measurement tools and instruments
- Education/Experience in interpreting schematics and pneumatics
- Proficient in verbal/written communication with upper management
