    As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will perform electrical maintenance and repair on equipment throughout the facility while also working on processes to improve efficiency.

    This is a direct-hire opportunity. AGY is a world leader in supplying high performance materials in the form of glass fiber yarns and reinforcements.

    Our glass fiber material is used in a broad range of markets, including Automotive, Construction, Defense, Electronics, Aerospace, Marine, and Recreation.

What We Offer Competitive pay 12-hour rotating shifts Overtime and weekend opportunities Direct-hire opportunity Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Opportunity for advancement What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Technical Certificate preferred 5+ years of verifiable industrial electrical experience as a 1st class electrician; OR 2-year electrical technical degree and related experience Ability to successfully complete all AGY's assessment criteria including, but not limited to, electrical equipment series assessments Ability to demonstrate electrical aptitude by passing electrical theory test Ability to lift pounds Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, squat, twist, turn, climb, work overhead, wear required PPE, and work in a hot and confined environment Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as required What You'll Do as an Electrical Maintenance Technician Perform electrical maintenance skills on any plant equipment facility, and/or process, in addition to performing incidental work including Basic Mechanical Skills Complete projects with little to no supervision Skilled in the use of all shop tools and equipment Install, calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment, related processes, and facility infrastructure Responsible for the accomplishments of work performed by the lower level jobs of the classification under the direction and authority of the supervisor Maintain a clean work environment Perform other tasks as assigned
