    Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health in Holyoke, MA. Active Massachusetts RN license, BLS and HWC required. Join a compassionate team providing evidence-based psychiatric nursing care across adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations.

    Grey scrubs (no hooded sweatshirts)

    Required Qualifications

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts

    BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

    Handle With Care (HWC) certification

    Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience preferred

    Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills

    Ability to float between patient floors/units as needed

    Must pass background check

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric nursing care to patients with diagnoses such as schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder

    Assess, monitor, and document patient status and interventions in Cerner EHR

    Administer medications safely and follow medication administration protocols

    Use EKGs, vitals machines, and glucometers for ongoing patient monitoring

    Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and practice strong de-escalation techniques

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (BHT Managers, RN Supervisors, Chief Nursing Officers) on care planning and patient goals

    Participate in team meetings, handoffs, and shift reporting to ensure continuity of care
