    Description


    Kennedy Jenks is seeking an ambitious and service-oriented Project Engineer to work remotely in the Virginia Beach area with civil and/or environmental water/wastewater experience.

    Come join a new growing KJ market A successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluation and supporting design and construction of conveyance facilities relating to water, wastewater, recycled water, utility infrastructure projects and treatment process improvement projects.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Design and analysis; Prepare detailed design, specifications and drawings. Design calculations with support of senior team. Assist the Project Manager where needed.
    Provide technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams.
    Write technical reports and maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation.
    Project management; support projects from conception through construction coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Lead small projects and attend both internal and external meetings where necessary.


    Qualifications:
    Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field
    4+ years of related water/wastewater engineering experience
    Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PE
    Experience relevant software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MictroStation, Civil3D and Microsoft products
    Knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations
    Strong technical writing skills

    Salary range for this position will vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.

    While this position may be fully remote, you must be located in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area.
