    Description

    Akkodis is looking for a Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to join a fantastic opportunity with a top automotive manufacturer!

    The HiL Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting product development and system integration processes. Responsibilities include developing test procedures for automated execution, utilizing Hardware in the Loop equipment, documenting and reviewing execution reports, reporting incidents, and tracking software updates for issue resolutions.

    The ideal candidate will excel in software test design, possess advanced knowledge in vehicle functional partitioning, electrical and communication architectures, embedded software processes, and the Global Product Development System. Close collaboration with feature owners, engineering, and suppliers is key to understanding vehicle functions and implementing effective test design strategies for early defect identification.

    This position is on-site in Allen Park, MI.

    Benefits such as medical, 401k, and sponsorship (if needed) are provided.

    Pay Range: $42.00-$48.00 per hour.

    Skills Required:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Effective project management abilities to handle multiple tasks.
    • Interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
    • Ability to manage urgent situations and prioritize effectively.

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive software development or validations.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in dSPACE or NI HIL simulators.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in ADAS/DAT and distributed feature testing.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing agile practices at an enterprise scale.

    Education Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
