    We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Inspector to ensure that all products meet strict quality and precision standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality procedures used in a manufacturing environment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high-quality standards.

    Position Responsibilities

    Inspection and Verification

    • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
    • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
    • Review blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure product compliance.
    • Identify, document, and report nonconforming parts or processes.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports.
    • Support traceability by properly tagging and recording parts throughout the production process.
    • Assist in maintaining calibration records for all inspection tools and gauges.
    • Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to supervisors and engineers.

    Continuous Improvement Support

    • Provide feedback to production teams on quality issues and potential process improvements.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
    • Help develop and refine inspection procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.

    Prerequisites

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
    • 24 years of experience in mechanical inspection or quality control in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in using inspection tools and reading technical blueprints.
    • Familiarity with GD&T principles and measurement standards.
    • Strong documentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)

    • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
    • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
    • OSHA or Safety Certification
    • CMM Operation or Programming Training
