Key Responsibilities:

Security Policy Implementation:

Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

Monitor the organization's networks and systems for security incidents and unauthorized access attempts.

Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement remediation measures.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Assess and manage security risks, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks effectively.

Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as NIST, HIPAA, or GDPR.

Security Awareness and Training:

Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to increase awareness of cybersecurity risks and best practices.

Provide guidance and support to staff on security-related matters, including secure system configurations and data handling procedures.

Security Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, including security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Prepare regular reports on security metrics, compliance status, and incident response activities for management review.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, Security+, or CISM.

Level 2 IAT certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+) required.

• years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on security operations and compliance.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
