- Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, and Employee Assistant Program

- 0- 2 years dental office experience preferred.
- Must be able to multitask in a face paced dental practice.
- Ability to read and comprehend, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work well under pressure work with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
- Sterilizes and delivers instruments to treatment areas; positions instruments for dentist's access; suctions; passes instruments
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols
- Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follows manufacturer's instructions; calls for repairs when necessary
- Maintains dental supplies inventory; places orders for supplies; verifies receipt of supplies
- Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
- Contributes to team effort
- Other duties as assigned

This position will assist in the management of the dental office infection control plan to meet OSHA and CDC standards. Handles instrument cleaning, sterilization/disinfection and re-circulation. Performs dental treatment room disinfection.
