    Location:
    Commerce, CA and different jobsites as necessary. 10% travel

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team. The Project Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the project manager by coordinating administrative tasks, ensuring smooth project operations, and facilitating communication.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Coordination:
    • Assist in the coordination of project activities, including scheduling, Material orders, Equipment allocation, and logistics.
    • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and vendor agreements.
    1. Communication:
    • Assist project manager as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors and install crews.
    • Assist in preparation and distribution of project status reports, meeting agendas, Minutes and other communications as needed.
    1. Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain project files, records, and databases.
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations, and project documentation.
    1. Expense Tracking and Managerial Accounting:
    • Manage and track project expenses, Purchase orders, track labor hours per project, vendor invoices
    • Collaborate with finance team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of project costs.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for project expenses.
    • Analyze project financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and cost optimization.
    1. Quality Assurance:
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining processes to optimize crew utilization and reduce material.
    • Participate in project reviews to identify and address any quality issues.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in the construction or renewable energy industry.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of solar energy systems and construction processes is a must.
