Job Summary

take orders, make drinks, and serve them to customers in a professional and quick manner

Job Tasks

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glassware and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout shift
• Build and maintain relationships with regular customers

Required knowledge and skills

• High energy level with a positive attitude
• Thoroughness and cleanliness
• Eager to work in a team environment with focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Physical ability to stand and walk during entire shift
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding consumption of alcohol
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
