    **Responsibilities:**

    Under the direction of the Chef or the Director, the Cook is responsible for cooking meals and providing food service to students and faculty, as well as working with catering and retail foodservice programs.

    Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day, and follow departmental cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures.

    Assists management in any way that is conducive to the successful and efficient operation of the kitchen.

    Work diligently to achieve outstanding service and quality.

    **Job Specifications**

    Must have at least 3 years of Lead Cook experience in a fine dining or other commercial kitchen.

    Must be at least 18 years old.

    Must have GED or high-school degree (at minimum)

    Must work well in a team-oriented environment.

    Is capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Have sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
