To carry on these long-standing company values, we're looking for an Environmental Compliance Coordinator.

    Manatt's Environmental Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and completing regulatory and compliance documents relating to OSHA, DNR, EPA, as well as federal, state, and local government requirements.

    In this role, candidates will oversee several concurrent projects and will actively maintain all associated records and processes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Acts as a liaison between senior management and employees on matters relating to environmental compliance.
    Lives and advances the team goal of 100% environmental compliance 100% of the time.
    Keeps current with local, state, and federal environmental legal requirements and monitor developments and changes.

    Works with the team to maintain Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and air permits.

    Interacts with numerous agencies, clients, and employees to verify compliance, obtain approvals, permits, conduct reviews and inspections, and prepare responses in a timely manner.

    Advises operations on environmental regulatory requirements and provide technical support as needed.

    Keeps current and familiar with the operating status of assigned sites anticipating and resolving potential or actual environmental compliance issues.

    Responds immediately to stormwater discharges and hazardous waste spills.

    Ensures air quality, oil and waste management, and storm water inspections, sampling, and related field work is completed for all sites.

    Participates in representation with outside regulatory agencies and association meetings.
    Participates in planning and organizing of environmental training meetings, new hire orientations and company events.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    General knowledge of federal & state, EPA, OSHA and DNR requirements and regulations preferred.
    Knowledge of how construction projects may impact soil, water, and wildlife preferred.
    Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines required.
    Valid Drivers License with good driving record.
    Ability to obtain 40-hr HAZWOPER Certification
