We remain an equal opportunity company.This opportunity is for a contracts management position supporting the Sikorsky Marine Corps Systems (MCS) market segment.
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration, including day-to-day contractual oversight, closeout, and support for related future proposals and negotiations.
Additional specific tasks include, but are not limited to, the evaluation of customer requests (solicitations and limited, to formal correspondence with customer(s), modifications including financial / terms), contracts file management, and closeout.
Candidate will work closely with functional organizations (finance, pricing, program management, engineering, sourcing, etc.).Must be a self-starter, willing to learn, demonstrate critical thought, be able to effectively coordinate with multiple internal and external customers, and have the ability to work independently.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Computer competency and the ability to work in various systems to update, maintain or extract contract data.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Prefer basic knowledge and understanding of FAR/DFARS and DoD Government contracts.
Ability to understand core financial and business
concepts.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance, interim secret clearance required.
Desired Skills:
Team player who is a problem solver and self-starter.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.
Ability to complete tasks with general oversight and supervision.
Experience with various contract vehicles, such as non-disclosure agreement and proprietary information agreements.
Federal contracting, negotiation, and administration experience with DoD contracts (FAR & DFARS).
Superlative customer relations and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal, writing, and business-related skills.

Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $50,300 - $96,400 .

Non-represented full-time employees:
accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $57,800 - $108,900.
