    Position Title:
    Logistics Operations Coordinator

    Reports To:

    Essential Tasks:
    Relay information between customers, Logistics Executives (LEs), and freight carriers with all that handle transportation of the customer's product.
    Negotiating and preparing carrier rates with to quote customers.
    Procuring appropriate carriers to haul for JEAR and its customers.

    Maintaining constant communication with carriers to ensure quality service which includes:
    Perform check calls, dispatch drivers, and manage issues that may occur in transit.
    Secure carrier capacity for a minimum of 20 loads per week, Addressing customer and carrier needs quickly and efficiently.

    Provide coverage for Logistic Executives while they are out of the office, acting as a liaison between the out of office LE and their Sales Manager and/or their customers.

    Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments.
    Confirming on-time and in-full deliveries.
    Support Sales Manager and/or Logistics Executives to complete any RFQ/RFP that will help secure future business.
    Create and maintain a carrier pool for JEAR's high-volume lanes. Assist Logistics Executives with the operational training and development of new hires.

    Tools and Technology:
    Desktop computer, proprietary operations software (JEARnet), Microsoft Office365, AT&T

    Education:
    Education equivalent to four years of college or a bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience.
