    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
    Job Summary:
    This colleague performs first level information systems customer support, incident recording, incident resolution and escalation for St. Tammany Health System supported devices and colleagues remotely. Records the details of reported information systems (IS) service issues and service requests and works to either restore service as quickly as possible, or alerts and/or escalates them to the appropriate colleagues in Information Systems. Responds to tickets, telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required.
    • Good technical troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
    Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree. Technology related certification(s).

    Physical Demands:
    Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 10 pounds is required.
